Uniform
Our aim is to encourage a sense of belonging to Sir John Offley, making us part of a recognisable ‘family’ within the community, with a sense of pride in both our appearance and achievements.
The wearing of correct school uniform:
- Promotes the ethos of the school and sets a positive tone for learning
- Provides a sense of belonging and identity, helping children feel part of a community
- Reduces peer pressure related to clothing choices and help minimise bullying
- Supports equality, ensuring all pupils are treated fairly regardless of background
- improves attendance and behaviour, as highlighted in updated guidance
Red crew neck jumper – with school logo or red cardigan – with school logo
Plain red polo style t-shirt (not fashion t-shirt)
Dark grey flannel trousers, dark grey skirt or pinafore
Grey/black/white tights or socks
Black school shoes (velcro or laced)
Summer term only, if preffered
Red and white checked summer dress or dark grey flannel school shorts
PE Kit:
All pupils must wear correct PE kit for PE –
Sports hoodie – with school logo
Plain white polo t-shirt (not fashion t-shirt)
Plain navy or black shorts/sweatpant or leggings
Grey/black/white socks or tights
Plimsolls or trainers
All item of clothing should be clearly marked with the child’s name.

The Smart School Uniform shop stocks all logo items. For example: Bags for carrying reading books, with the school logo, as are Pump Bags with the school logo on.
