Priorities

Strategic School Development Plan (SSDP) is written each year by the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and Governors.  Our priorities are shown under the following headings:

  • Quality of Education
  • To provide opportunities to strengthen number sense, fluency and mental/arithmetic strategies across the whole school.  To implement 2025 Writing Framework.  To focus on oracy
  • Behaviour and attitudes

    To embed SEAL in line with our Social and Emotional Learning across the whole school.  To continue to maintain attendance above national. 

  • Personal development

    To enhance the outdoors shelters to include a reading and games area.  To continue to provide wider opportunities including external workshops, visits and clubs. 

  • Leadership and Management

    To fill Governor vacancies with people to enhance profile of Governing Board.

  • Safeguarding

  • To provide refresher training for all staff. To address actions from recent Section 175 safeguarding audit summer 25

  • Early Years
  • To implement ‘Drawing Club’ in Reception to develop early creative writing.  To complete training and implement the new DFE baseline assessment for Reception children.  To continue to monitor the implementation of phonics (Little Wandle) and maths (White Rose) in Nursery to improve outcomes

Each subject leader also has an action plan, linked to the subject which they are responsible for.
